Terms of use

Effective October 16, 2026

These terms cover your use of Kessik, an iPhone app by Zach Short ("the developer"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to downloads from the App Store.

What the app does

Kessik is an SSH client. It connects to computers that you choose and runs commands on them for you, including tmux and Claude Code. It does not provide a server, an account or Claude access. Claude Code is a separate product from Anthropic and has its own terms.

Your responsibility

  • Connect only to computers that you own or have permission to use.
  • Keep your devices, SSH keys and passwords secure. You are responsible for what runs on your Mac through the app, including actions that Claude Code takes.
  • Check each host key change before you trust it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Kessik to access systems without permission, to break the law or to harm others.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The developer does not promise that it will be free of errors or that connections will never drop.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for lost data, lost work or other indirect damage that comes from using the app, including commands that run on your computers.

Changes

The developer may update these terms. The new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the update.
